A3C3 members John Baird, Ralph Krawczyk, Jr., and Michael Myers have photographs in the Festifools group show. The show is organized by local photographer Myra Klarman, and is currently hanging at Sweetwaters Cafe in Ann Arbor.
From the show blurb:
"The idea of a group show was inspired by the amazing diversity of images I saw on Flickr.com (a photo sharing website) of last year’s event – the inaugural FestiFools.
I invited the members of three Flickr groups – Exposure Detroit, the Ann Arbor Area Crappy Camera Club (A3C3), and the (more general) Ann Arbor group – to submit up to five photographs to the pool. The jury chose at least one image from each photographer.
The photographers who participated had to work fast! Within a week and a day of the event, all accepted images needed to be printed, framed, and delivered. Most of the images were taken with state-of-the-art digital cameras. But several of the photographers used plastic Holgas and film."
Sweetwaters Cafe is at 123 W Washington St, in downtown Ann Arbor. The show runs through May 2008, with an Artist Reception on April 25th, 7-10pm.
